Jayashree Ramaiah was best know for her appearance in the reality show BigBoss Kannada, on January 25th, 2021 she was found dead in her apartment. According to the police report, Jayashree was found hanging in her room. Previously, she attempted suicide on July 22, 2020, and even shared a Facebook post, she wrote “I quit. Goodbye to this f*****g world and depression.” However, Jayashree later deleted the post and shared a new update saying, “I’m Alright and safe!! Love you all.”

She rose to fame after her appearance in the Bigg Boss Kannada Season 3, in the show she didn’t make it to the finals but gained recognition from the show which helped her to land a role in the 2017 movie Uppu Huli Khara. In the movie, Kannada actress Malasri was in the lead role and was directed by Imran Sardhariya. Additionally, Jayashree also acted in the movie such as Black. On January 25, 2021, Jayashree committed suicide at her residence in Pragathi layout in Magadi road in the city. Last year, she tried to take her own life and made a post on Facebook, wrote “I quit. Goodbye to this f*****g world and depression.” However, Jayashree later deleted the post and shared a new update saying, “I’m Alright and safe!! Love you all.”
However, she informed her fans and friends she was alright in the Facebook post, she wrote “I’m Alright and safe!! Love you all.” After a month, she came live on Facebook and said to her fans “I am not doing all of this for publicity sake. I am not expecting financial help from Sudeep sir as well. I am only expecting my death as I am unable to battle depression,” and added “I am financially strong but depressed. I have been going through a lot of personal issues. I have been betrayed since childhood and unable to overcome it.” According to the report, since then Jayashree was undergoing treatment at the Ashram.
