In 2016, she ran for re-election and faced Democrat Mike Derrick and Green Party candidate Matt Funiciello, she won re-election with 66%. Then, in 2018 Elise once again won the re-election with 56%, in 2020 she won the re-election against Tedra Cobb.

In 2017, Elise voted against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and in the same year, she voted on party lines in favor of repealing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and passing the House Republican-sponsored American Health Care Act and voted for the Championing Healthy Kids Act. In March 2017, Stefanik opposed Trump’s 2017 executive order imposing a temporary ban by nationals of seven Muslim-majority countries. In 2019, Elise Stefanik supported Donald Trump and defended him during his 2019 impeachment in the Trump–Ukraine scandal. Later, she also supported a lawsuit that attempted to overturn Trump’s electoral defeat in the 2020 election and after the 2021 storming of the United States Capitol, she made false claims of fraud. In May 2021, she described Trump as the “strongest supporter of any president when it comes to standing up for the Constitution.”

During the 115th United States Congress, she was ranked as the 19th most bipartisan member of the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2015, Stefanik was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa as an honoris causa initiate at SUNY Plattsburgh and Fortune magazine named Stefanik in their ’40 Under 40′ listing under the “Government and Politics” category.  On August 19, 2017, Elise Stefanik tied the knot with Matthew Manda, he work in marketing and communications, in Saratoga Springs, now the couple lives in Schuylerville, a suburb of the Capital District.
