Nick Kamen was a Model and best know for his 1985 Levi advert, he attended St Marks RC Comprehensive School. In 1984, he featured on the front cover of The Face, British music, fashion, and culture monthly magazine originally published from 1980 to 2004. In 1985, Nick appeared in Levi’s “Launderette” commercial, which dramatically increased the sales of Levi 501s, it was directed by Roger Lyons and in 2000 it was named “The 100 Greatest TV Ads.” In 1986, he released his first single “Each Time You Break My Heart,” it was released by Sire Records and signed a record deal with Sire, the song “Each Time You Break My Heart” was the lead single from his album, it was written and produced by Madonna and Stephen Bray.
