In 1985, Nick appeared in Levi’s “Launderette” commercial, which dramatically increased the sales of Levi 501s, it was directed by Roger Lyons and in 2000 it was named “The 100 Greatest TV Ads.” In 1986, he released his first single “Each Time You Break My Heart,” it was released by Sire Records and signed a record deal with Sire, the song “Each Time You Break My Heart” was the lead single from his album, it was written and produced by Madonna and Stephen Bray.
