Mark Bezos is the younger brother of the Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. On July 20, 2021, Mark Bezos and his elder brother Jeff Bezos are heading to space. On Monday, the Amazon founder announced that he and his brother will be on the first human flight of the New Shepard spacecraft, made by Blue Origin, the aerospace spaceflight and manufacturing company founded by Amazon billionaire in 2000. The company is currently auctioning one of the six available seats aboard the flight, which will last 11 minutes and take the spacecraft 62 miles above the Earth’s surface. After the auction closed Ariane Cornell, the director of the astronaut and orbital sales at Blue Origin said “What a day,” added “The whole Blue Origin team cannot wait to meet our first customer.”

The winning bid amount will be donated to Blue Origin’s foundation, @ClubforFuture.”. Bezos wrote on Instagram by sharing a video for the announcement “Ever since I was five years old, I’ve dreamed of traveling to space. On July 20th, I will take that journey with my brother. The greatest adventure, with my best friend. #GradatimFerociter,” and also told that “a big deal for me.” And invited his brother he said, “I think it would be meaningful, have my brother there.”
